Music and food are one of the most natural pairings we know of, like peanut butter and jelly. Exploring and navigating through music and food has allowed us to connect deeply with our environment, and with the beautiful people in it.
Harpeth Rising is the folk trio that Maria and Jordana play in, along with their friend Rebecca Reed-Lunn. They're based out of Louisville, KY, and traverse the roads playing music throughout the USA and Europe. Their band is comprised of violin, cello, and banjo, in addition to three-part vocals and foot percussion. They all met at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where they were classical music students.
Julia plays with the Anthony Novak Group, which is based out of Minneapolis. She also teaches cello and piano privately! Julia was a cello performance major at the Jacobs School of Music, and she and Maria have been talking music, food, and life since the mid-2000's.
